Oxford is your oyster, there are a broad array of lovely hotels. The town is small and area not too trafficky, so just find something you like and plan to get a taxi! Just check www.booking.com or www.airbnb.com and see what you can find. Location wise, you have a few choices.

1.Near the reception venue? Look for options close to Weston Manor House Hotel

Our venue is on the outskirts of Oxford, not far from Bicester (of Bicester Village Outlet Shopping fame). There aren’t many hotel options very close by so you will need to drive, but there are lots of nice Airbnb’s all over the beautiful surrounding villages.

2. Within reach of Weston Manor?

If you aren’t staying close by, then you can reasonably consider staying anywhere between central/North Oxford and Bicester and surrounds. It is possible to get a taxi out to Weston Manor from Oxford for £15, or £10 if you are coming from nearer to Oxford parkway train station. Oxford has resisted Uber so if you are car-free then you may want to find a taxi. Our favourite taxi company in Oxford is 001 taxis, you can get them on 01865 240000. Be warned, Oxford residents have also managed to resist the encroachment of phone signal, so your best way to get a taxi in various parts of Oxford may be to use wifi and find a cab via the taxi app. We suggest you download it now, 001 taxis is the name of the app.

3. Near the Church?

Another good idea would be to stay close to St. Barnabas so that you can drop your bag off before the 1300 church service starts. Any hotel in Oxford centre would be well located for this, if you like middle-eastern food then the Richmond hotel above Al Shami’s (delicious restaurant!) could be a good idea. To be honest, options are plentiful so Oxford really is your oyster.

4.Not staying?

We hope you can stay so that you can make the most of the huge amount of wine that we are shipping in. If you cannot stay though, Oxford Parkway is £10 taxi away and has trains to London late into the night! The park and ride next to it also is a great place to leave your car if you are driving home sober.
